Summary: Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with experience in designing manufacturing aides and tooling, CAD/Drafting, lean manufacturing principles, and New Product Introduction.
Requirements:
Experience in defining manufacturing/engineering approaches, planning and scheduling work.
Ability to support design, fabrication, modification and evaluation of manufacturing operations.
Proficiency in compiling and evaluating test and production data, preparing technical analysis.
Experience in providing production floor and assembly support related to assembly drawing interpretation, engineering change notices etc.
Expertise in designing manufacturing aids and tooling.
CAD/Drafting experience (GD&T).
Working knowledge for mechanical and electrical assemblies.
Experience in technical writing (work instructions, processes etc.).
Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of Brushless DC motor assembly or Actuation Systems/ Valves
Knowledge of Electronics and PLC's
Previous experience with aviation or medical equipment qualification processes
Green Belt or Black Belt certification
Responsibilities:
Participate in defining manufacturing/engineering approaches & planning/scheduling work
Provide support in the design/fabrication/modification/evaluation of manufacturing operations
Provide input to plans/process specifications/procedures/production aids & assembly fixtures/MRP support studies/factory cost work standards development etc.
