We are seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to support an exciting new product that we are developing. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, designing and implementing time-critical software solutions for our revolutionary elevator technologies.
Requirements
We are searching for a candidate with:
· A minimum of 5 years of experience with real time embedded software engineering
· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Software Engineering (or equivalent experience as demonstrated by candidate)
· Embedded firmware development skills are required
· Experience with C, C
· Experience with real-time operating systems is required
· Experience with scripting tools such as Bash, PowerShell, Python, Cygwin Make is highly desirable
· Familiarity with revision control (subversion, git) is highly desirable
· Experience with low-level device drivers is desirable
· Experience with STM32 microcontrollers, ST toolchain, TouchGFX, CAN, CANFD, SPI, UART, I2C, bluetooth, external memory(FRAM), FreeRTOS, baremetal development
· Experience with bootloaders is desirable
· Familiarity with automated testing in an embedded environment a plus
· Familiarity with FPGA development and HDL language a plus
Duties and Responsibilities
A typical day may include:
· Design, and develop new software code
· Program in high-level languages as required
· Perform functionality and performance testing
· Work closely with industrial designers, mechanical engineers, and other department engineers as required
· Other related tasks and duties as required
