JOB OVERVIEW
Support, drive and lead Lean/TPM Continuous Improvement systematic methodology implementation in the PIM Brands site ensuring effective governance following the "plan–do– check–act" (PDCA) flow. The position interfaces extensively with all pillars and functions to build capability and eliminate losses to deliver the plant Compelling Business Need (CBN) and annual objectives. This role is responsible for implementing Lean/TPM Continuous Improvement systematic tools while building the required capability, as well as pulling the other pillars to guarantee the delivery of business results through a High-Performance approach.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, kneeling and crouching. Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools and controls. Lifting and moving of objects weighing at least 15 lbs. WORK ENVIRONMENT
Office and plant floor environment. When on the plant floor, it is representative of a large, busy manufacturing operation. Noisy, active, objects on the floor, constant movement and traffic flow of motorized equipment. Hair net, beard net, assigned work uniform are among the GMP required apparel that must be worn, if indicated, on the plant floor. Protective eye wear and gloves may be required in certain situations.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
Bachelors Degree Strongly Preferred in (Engineering Disciplines, Industrial/Manufacturing engineers, and supply chain operations)
Extensive management knowledge including TPM, Lean Manufacturing and/or integrated performance improvement processes. Good working knowledge of the supply chain and the plant organization.
Solid knowledge of at least Pillar performance management.
Solid knowledge of Focused Improvement/ Analytical Skills (Root Cause Analysis (RCA)/ Focus Improvement tools.
Ability to blend people into teams; creates strong morale and leverages on diversity in his/her work;
Effective at being a Servant Leader with the ability to lead and manage change.
