Located in the greater Quakertown, PA area, Millennium is owned by the Bracalente Manufacturing Group (BMG), which was founded in 1950. $2,500 Hire Bonus – 50% paid after 30 days of employment, balance after 90 days.
Position Responsibilities:
· Develop and maintain NC programs using Partmaker software to facilitate the continuous production of machined parts
· Utilize knowledge of available CNC Swiss equipment and multi-turret lathes and tooling to create the most efficient production process possible
· Create and control technical information: Setup Sheets, Process plans, and Work instructions required to produce parts to exacting standards in a timely manner
· Identify and troubleshoot process problems to keep production flowing
· Collaborate with sales team to perform time studies to generate accurate cost estimates within part specifications
· Setup and perform first part run offs and coordinate with operators to understand machining operation and documents
· Contribute to the training of company employees to improve skill level of machine operators
· Perform pre-production engineering reviews and risk assessments to ensure project success
· Provide input to improve productivity and quality to reduce costs and achieve company goals
· Optimize and secure programs to prevent process alteration
Qualifications:
· CNC Swiss turning experience required for programming and setup. Star SV / SW /SR / SA experience preferred.
· Single and CNC Multi-Turret lathe experience required for programming and setup. Nakamura triple turret (NTY3) and Eurotech single and dual turret (E42, 420SLLY, E42SLY, E735SLY) brand experience preferred.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced job shop environment and be able to interface with high level machine setup operators and quality technicians.
· Ability to program using CAM software from customer drawings and solid models. Partmaker experience required. Mastercam experience a plus.
· Minimum 5 years programming CNC Swiss machines and multi-turret CNC lathes
· Expert CNC trouble shooting skills
· Strong people skills – team player required – strong communication/organizational skills
· Experience cutting a wide variety of standard and exotic materials
· Proficiency with Fanuc controls
· Software Knowledge required: CAM Software (Partmaker), Microsoft Office 365
· Software Knowledge preferred: Mastercam, Solidworks
· Epicor (or equivalent ERP experience)
· 5 – 10 years in a machine shop environment minimum
· Strong communication and organization skills
· Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
· Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR.
Education:
· High School or equivalent required
· College or machining trade school preferred
