Astro is a World-Class 450 person, climate-controlled advanced manufacturing facility that produces spherical bearings, rod ends, sub-assemblies and other precision metal parts for the aerospace industry.
This position is responsible for creating and checking process routings and selecting tooling where appropriate for parts made from all aerospace grade materials. Provide support to Manufacturing floor as needed for trouble shooting and engineering related issues. Position requires an individual who can work independently as well as in a team environment. The successful candidate will have a minimum of an ASME or equivalent in a related Engineering field. Must be able to work in an office and manufacturing environment. Experience or a basic understanding of the metal working industry as it related to turning and grinding is a plus. Experience with Microsoft products and Solidwork is preferred.
