Manufacturing Engineer Manager oversees the development and implementation of manufacturing processes to maintain proper product functionality as well as cost efficiency. Ensures the engineering team and other manufacturing departments work together cohesively. Being a Manufacturing Engineer Manager is responsible for the development of equipment to aid in the manufacturing process. Reviews, evaluates and implements engineering changes and specification requirements. Additionally, Manufacturing Engineer Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Manufacturing Engineer Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Manufacturing Engineer Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. Requirements
Experience With:
1. Maintaining ISO 9001:2015 system requirements.
2. Print interpretation.
3. Background work in PPAP, Control Plans, FMEA and Process Capability tools.
4. Corrective Action Problem Solving using Root Cause analysis, implementation, and verification activities.
Responsibilities
Work with associate teams and external auditors to maintain work instructions and forms for products or processes which meet all internal and external system requirements.
Leadership assistance with PPAP team organization for final customer submissions, including FMEA.
Train and supervise inspectors, technicians and other staff to provide guidance and feedback.
Assist in product development teams.
Inspect and audit process outputs for comparison to requirements.
Maintain accurate documentation/records and perform/train basic statistical analysis.
Management Review.
Identify LEAN opportunities for improvement and develop new efficient procedures.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
