Candidate will be responsible for overall managing of the team, basic process improvement responsibilities, utilizing basic production forecast documents, and overall efficiency of any issues related to the production process.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Project Management: Managing the overall execution of new product commercialization projects, including resource allocation, timeline management, and milestone tracking to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Prototype and Pilot Production: Conduct prototype and pilot production runs to validate the production process and identify any issues or areas for improvement. Use feedback from pilot runs to refine processes, optimize efficiency, and ensure product quality.
• Production Ramp-Up: Gradually increase production volumes to meet demand while monitoring process performance, quality metrics, and resource utilization. Address any challenges or bottlenecks that arise during the ramp-up phase to ensure smooth production scaling.
• Continuous Improvement: Continuously monitor and evaluate production processes to identify opportunities for optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency improvement. Implement changes, upgrades, and innovations to enhance productivity, quality, and competitiveness.
• Workforce Training: Train production staff on operating procedures, safety protocols, quality standards, and best practices related to the production process. Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Compliance and Workplace Safety: Ensuring compliance with industry regulations, quality standards, and workplace safety protocols. Establishing and implementing safety measures and driving initiatives to uphold regulatory compliance and product quality.
• Equipment Selection and Setup: Identify the necessary equipment and machinery required for the production process. Evaluate options based on factors such as capacity, efficiency, flexibility, and cost. Install and set up the equipment in the production facility, ensuring proper calibration and maintenance.
• Supply Chain Management: Manage the supply chain effectively to ensure uninterrupted availability of materials, components, and resources required for production. Develop contingency plans and alternative sourcing strategies to mitigate supply chain risks.
Must Haves:
- 2 years of experience in a manufacturing / production setting.
