GENERAL LABORER FOR ESTABLISHED COMPANY

Engineering Manufacturing Technologies (“EMT”) is a metal component manufacturer located near Binghamton, NY. Our manufacturing facility is over 130,000 sq. ft. and we employ over 125 personnel. EMT has been in business for over 70 years and our manufacturing processes include Punch Press Stampings, Sheet Metal Fabrications, and CNC Machining & Turned parts. EMT is known as a leader in our industry and our manufacturing facility houses the “most state of the art” equipment. Our continued growth in the automotive, aerospace, commercial/industrial, DOD, firearm, and pharmaceutical industries requires EMT to hire general laborers.

The person we hire will be experienced in various general factory tasks. We are looking for a self-starter who has the ability to perform and/or learn:

• Punch press operator
• Deburr, wash, assemble or pack parts
• Seam weld
• General housekeeping and cleaning initiatives

Minimum Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of mathematic concepts.
• Basic mechanical skills.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand/walk for long periods of time.
• Willingness to be trained and desire to learn how to perform all general factory tasks.
• Attentive to performing all tasks assigned.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment and experience operating a fork truck is preferred.
