Position Overview:

As a Civil Engineering Construction Materials Testing Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of construction materials used in various projects. From conducting tests on concrete, asphalt, soil, and aggregates to providing accurate and timely reports, you will be at the forefront of maintaining our high standards of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of tests on construction materials according to ASTM and ACI standards.
• Conduct field inspections and sampling of materials at job sites.
• Record and analyze test data accurately, ensuring compliance with quality control procedures.
• Prepare detailed reports documenting test results and findings.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other team members to ensure project requirements are met.
• Maintain testing equipment and ensure calibration accuracy.

Qualifications:

• ACI Certification (Field or Laboratory Technician) or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in construction materials testing preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: $18.00 - $29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 70 per week
