What we want

We are looking for a flexible Maintenance Technician who will be responsible for repairing, maintaining, and rebuilding all industrial process equipment. We utilize RF welders, industrial-sized sewing machines, cut seal machines, and various small pieces of equipment. Your duties will include monitoring inventory for machinery, repairing machinery, and assembling machinery.

To succeed in this role, you should be physically and mentally fit and have a solid knowledge of basic mechanic's tools, service, and diagnostic equipment. Our ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, with excellent communication and customer service skills.

What you will do

• Conduct regular maintenance on machinery and systems.
• Assemble mechanical components according to specifications.
• Examine machines and oversee diagnostic tests to determine functionality problems.
• Design a plan of action for maintenance tasks and upgrades.
• Maintain work logs, repairs, and maintenance records.
• Monitor inventory and order new parts when necessary
• Offer consultation on maintenance and preventative procedures to mechanic users.
• Perform assessments and alert users to issues that will prohibit their machines from properly working.
• Other duties as assigned

What you bring to the table

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification
• Certification from a vocational school or trade school is preferred.
• 2 years' experience in a similar role
• Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
• In-depth knowledge of diagnostic equipment and mechanical systems
• Strong attention to detail with an aptitude for problem-solving
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.50 per hour
