Description
The Manufacturing Engineering Technician Il, AME works under general supervision to support engineering initiatives and projects for the Advanced Manufacturing team and support transfer of new products from R&D to manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Aid engineering and provide input in equipment and tooling design, development, assembly, and qualification (IQ/OQ).

Aid engineering and provide input in process development including documenting manufacturing processes and equipment setup.

Perform device and prototype assembly.

Troubleshoot equipment and process issues for new products and processes.

Train production on new processes.

Execute test protocols by performing inspections, functional and destructive testing.

Prioritize and manage multiple concurrent projects and work tasks to help meet new product development objectives and deadlines.

Initiate purchase orders.

Initiate Change Orders (COs).

Maintain a lab notebook.

Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.

General knowledge of clean room procedures.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Ability to work in a clean room environment.

Good written and oral communication skills.

Knowledge of basic measuring techniques including scales, rulers, US and metric measurement.

Ability to follow company procedures.
Preferred
- 2 or more years of assembly experience in medical device industry preferred.
