OVERVIEW:
Working as Full-time Manufacturing Engineering Sales, you will sell all aspects of Fastenal Manufacturing Services. Including precision machining, hot forging, cold forming and stud bolting. This role will have a specific focus on growing existing accounts and developing new account sales.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
o Targeting opportunities to grow manufacturing sales by working directly with our National Accounts, District Managers and branch key account sales force
o Facilitating and executing growth goals of the manufacturing department
o Developing, selling, and implementing programs that will allow Fastenal to continue to grow its manufacturing industry sales

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:
o Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed
o Possess a bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering OR possess prior industry related sales experience
o Excellent written and oral communication skills
o Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
o Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
o Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
o Willingness and ability to travel

o Ability to pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)
o Successfully pass a post offer pre-employment drug screen, background check, and previous employment verification, required by a customer/contract serviced by this location
