Laidig Systems, Inc. is actively interviewing candidates for a Manufacturing Technician. Laidig is looking for a positive, high energy, self-directed individual to join our growing team. A high school diploma or equivalent is required for the Manufacturing Technician position.

This is a first shift position.

The Manufacturing Technician would be responsible performing the following functions:

• Read and understand work instructions, work orders, and shop drawings
• Operate oxy/acetylene torches and other manufacturing tools
• Understand and carry out verbal instructions and fill out various written documents
• Operate fork lift, overhead crane and miscellaneous hand tools
• Lift within OSHA guidelines
• Operate various types of manufacturing equipment as instructed
• Package and crate finished products
• Use computer to log work activities
• Work in a safe and efficient manner and obey all company rules and regulations
• Maintain a clean and well-organized work area
• Work overtime as required
• Provide own hand tools
• Perform other activities as directed by Team Leader
