The Manufacturing Engineering Technician at Cook Winston-Salem will develop and implement methods to improve departmental efficiencies and to address process-related issues concerning active and new product.
• Address process-related issues concerning active product manufacture while ensuring that proposed methods are reproducible from a quality and manufacturing standpoint• Assist in the expedient completion of corrective actions• Assist in the expedient completion of equipment validations• Coordinate and generate pertinent documentation relating to the product and manufacturing modifications• Provide training to assembly personnel during the introduction of a new product, product modification, or process modification• Provide technical support to production to address manufacturing issues with products identified as exceeding the established scrap/reject program goal• Participate actively in CAPA program and engineering meetings
• Associates degree in a technical field of study• Experience in Process Validation (IQ, OQ, PQ, TMV)• Proficient with Word, Excel and Vizio• Good Manual dexterity• Strong excel skills preferred• Good organizational skills• Must have effective oral and written communication skills and be proficient at technical writing• Detail-oriented• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations• Must strictly adhere to safety requirements• Work performed in a normal working environment• Maintain regular and punctual attendance
