Job Description- Manage and perform maintenance in all facilities. Responsible for hiring and training staff and ensuring the smooth running and upkeep of repair operations. Will exercise leadership and perform administrative tasks. Will manage scheduling, inventory, and order parts as needed. Will monitor expenses and control maintenance department budget.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Inspect facility’s and line process equipment to determine problems and necessary maintenance
2. Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work
3. Perform general and semiskilled maintenance activities as needed
4. Prepare written materials for the purpose of documenting activities and/or conveying information
5. Responds to emergencies during and after hours for the purpose of resolving immediate concerns
6. Perform other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the machinery
7. Adheres to safety practices
8. Supervises staff and maintenance functions to ensure upkeep (PM) or repair operations
9. Oversee and conduct monthly building inspections
10. Conduct monthly inventory functions
11. Order parts & supplies as needed or scheduled
12. Work within established budget
13. Manage shop tools and budget
13. Prepare and submit quarterly reports for maintenance department
14. Hire, train, and manage maintenance staff
15. Maintain facilities per OSHA compliance standards
Qualifications:
Bachelors or Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance or related Field
or
5 years industrial maintenance experience
Electrical background is a plus
Welding, grinding, tool knowledge
