Manufacturing Manager plans, schedules, and manages one or more manufacturing production processes. Incorporates organization-wide operational safety, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and cost control policies and programs into manufacturing processes. Being a Manufacturing Manager monitors production metrics, responds to and resolves problems. Assists with planning and directing an efficient layout of equipment and flow of materials. Additionally, Manufacturing Manager collaborates with leaders to manage and resolve workforce or labor issues and develop solutions. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. 19. Participate/Establish an environment and culture that promotes safety in the workplace.
20. Provide appropriate support and training to ensure department is compliant with all applicable OSHA and TS requirements.
21. Develop constructive relationships with vendors, contractors, consultants and governmental agency representatives as necessary.

Requirements:

2. Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain or related field.
3. Minimum 5 years’ experience in an Engineered to Order manufacturing environment.
4. At least 15 years’ experience of industry experience in Supply Chain Management.
5. Thorough knowledge and understanding of Sales and Operations Planning, Purchasing, ERP systems (Epicor system experience desired), Logistics, Warehousing, Traffic and Stock Control Theory. Background in Global Procurement and WW strategy development a plus.
6. Strong organizational and management skills
7. Proven decision-making authority: Supplier selection, price negotiations, supplier cash flow analysis, individual plant requirements
8. Excellent written and verbal communication, as well as presentation skills
9. Business travel to customer or to trade shows is required – US and international travel will be required. Expected 10%
10. Demonstrated ability to conceive, develop and implement cost savings efforts and capital investment projects.
11. Must have a hands-on leadership style.
12. Proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
