Manufacturing Manager plans, schedules, and manages one or more manufacturing production processes. Being a Manufacturing Manager monitors production metrics, responds to and resolves problems. Assists with planning and directing an efficient layout of equipment and flow of materials. Description:
The CNC Machinist is responsible for accurately reading engineering blueprints, setting up, running, and monitoring their machine to assure that parts are machined per the specification. The Machinist must be able and comfortable to work with very tight tolerances ( /- .0005") in stainless steel, aluminum, and titanium. They will engage in all standard industry machining practices such as properly setting up materials to be machined, program loading, adjusting tool offsets as needed, general monitoring of machine monitoring, and such.
Responsibilities
Accurately interpret engineering blueprints, specifications, work orders, and any other pertinent documents.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machine performance or product quality.
Regularly monitor the machine, ensuring parts produced are within specifications.
Conduct all necessary tooling activities, adjusting offsets, and other related tasks.
Notify department Supervision for programming or other issues which may affect part quality.
Ensure the parts produced are aligned with company and customer standards.
Requirements
Must be able to read and interpret engineering blueprints and any other relevant documents.
Must be able to regularly monitor machine to assure part quality per specification.
Must be able to work with very tight tolerances ( /- .0005")
Have a basic level of computer literacy, ranging from: Outlook, Microsoft Office, or other basic softwares
