Manufacturing Manager plans, schedules, and manages one or more manufacturing production processes. Incorporates organization-wide operational safety, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and cost control policies and programs into manufacturing processes. Being a Manufacturing Manager monitors production metrics, responds to and resolves problems. Assists with planning and directing an efficient layout of equipment and flow of materials. Additionally, Manufacturing Manager collaborates with leaders to manage and resolve workforce or labor issues and develop solutions. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Manufacturing Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions.     Summary: Experienced in Tool & Die Supervising to build and maintain a wide range of progressive, compound, and secondary dies. Ability to prioritize, manages, and supervises the workload of existing jobs in the tooling area. Tool Room Supervisor will be hands on, leading, guiding and being responsible for all tool room personnel. Work week is a minimum of 40 hours per week and overtime available when needed. Candidate reports directly to the BU Director.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Become familiar with the Quality Policy and Objectives of Larsen Manufacturing.
    • Responsible for OTD on all internal new tool builds or revisions.
    • Responsible for completion of tool repair tickets as needed by production.
    • Assist in the tryout and debug of new tools.
    • Hire, train, and review tool room personnel as needed.
    • Attend design review meetings when required.
    • Responsible for die safeties and sensors on new tooling.
    • Responsible for die inventory database data entry and upkeep.
    • Responsible for purchase of tool room related items as required.

    Skills and Abilities Required

    • High School Diploma or Equivalent, TMA certificate a plus.
    • Minimum of 10 years experience in supervising, building and tool repair.
    • Knowledge and operation of all tool room equipment safely and efficiently.
    • Ability to follow procedures and instructions per ISO requirements.
    • Good written & verbal skills in English; Spanish Bilingual is a plus.
    • Ability and willingness to work overtime when necessary.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
