Being a Manufacturing Manager monitors production metrics, responds to and resolves problems. Assists with planning and directing an efficient layout of equipment and flow of materials. We are looking for someone that can manage a government contractual product through the lifecycle of the manufacturing process interfacing with our existing teams in fabrication, quality, materials, and engineering and helping to drive process improvements, time studies, and efficiencies
Position PurposeResponsible for developing and leading a cross-functional team in the development of any large-contract new products that meet customer specifications. Responsible for overall program success in terms of budget, schedule, and technical performance.
In coordinating large production contracts, the Program Manager is responsible for working with Sales and customers, and the General Manager to ensure that the plant has the necessary customer perspective to support providing the best possible customer experience. This includes working with Engineering and the Production Team to develop and modify production plans based on customer needs and internal capabilities to support those needs.
ORGANIZATION FIT This position reports to the General Manager. This position may also interact with sales, quality, and engineering.
