Incorporates organization-wide operational safety, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and cost control policies and programs into manufacturing processes. Being a Manufacturing Manager monitors production metrics, responds to and resolves problems. Assists with planning and directing an efficient layout of equipment and flow of materials. Additionally, Manufacturing Manager collaborates with leaders to manage and resolve workforce or labor issues and develop solutions. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Manufacturing Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Manufacturing Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Overview:

    As a National Account Manager specializing in the your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain strategic relationships with key accounts within the home center sector. You will work closely with retailers, distributors, and internal stakeholders to drive sales, increase market share, and maximize profitability for our products within this specific channel.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Account Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with key home center retailers, such as Home Depot, Lowe's, Menards and other regional chains, to understand their business objectives and align our product offerings to meet their needs.
    • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive account plans that outline sales objectives, promotional strategies, pricing strategies, and marketing initiatives tailored to the home center channel.
    • Sales Growth: Drive sales growth by identifying new business opportunities, negotiating contracts, and implementing sales strategies to increase product distribution and shelf space within home center stores.
    • Forecasting and Analysis: Conduct regular analysis of sales data, market trends, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and make informed business decisions.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, product development, supply chain, and finance to ensure alignment on strategies and execution plans for the home center channel.
    • Promotional Activities: Plan and execute promotional activities, including in-store promotions, displays, and events, to increase brand visibility and drive sales within home center stores.
    • Budget Management: Manage and allocate resources effectively within the allocated budget to maximize return on investment and achieve sales targets.
    • Customer Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for home center accounts, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and providing exceptional customer service to maintain long-term partnerships.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
    • Proven track record of success in national account management within the consumer goods industry, with specific experience in the home center channel.
    • Strong understanding of retail operations, merchandising principles, and category management.
    • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations.
    • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Results-oriented with a focus on driving sales growth and achieving targets.
    • Flexibility to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
