Continuous Improvement and Quality Manager:
Perfection Chain Products has an opportunity available for Continuous Improvement and Quality Manager! This position has an anticipated salary range of $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 annually and is eligible for our full benefits package. This is a full time & salaried position that will work on-site at our facility in Cullman, Alabama. This position will drive Continuous Improvement and Quality programs throughout the facility in alignment with Corporate and Plant Goals & Objectives.
Salary Range: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 annually (depending on experience).

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The position will initially determine effectiveness of the current Plant processes and Quality system by analyzing data and trends from existing metrics (Safety, Quality, Productivity, Cost, Customer Satisfaction), and report to management. Based on analysis of Plant data along with management input, employee input and other tools, this position will define C/I efforts, metrics, deployment goals and objectives. This effort will include plant-wide communication, training, mentoring, coaching, & feedback to employees.
Who we are seeking in an applicant:
In order to be successful in this role you will need to have a working knowledge of Change Management and a functional understanding of Lean Principals as they pertain to manufacturing. We are seeking a candidate with a 4-year degree relevant to manufacturing, business, engineering, or leadership, and at least 5 years of experience in quality, operations, and/or continuous improvement functions, preferably in a manufacturing environment (experience can be substituted for education on a year-to-year basis). This position will need to be filled by an effective communicator and analytical thinker, as process improvements will need to be documented, measured, and presented.
Other desired skills and experience include:
- Experience implementing, training employees on, and measuring the effectiveness of Lean Programs.
- Reviewing employee morale and developing motivation programs.
- Practical experience with Lean Manufacturing tools, including 8-Disciplines of Problem Solving, Root Cause Analysis, Fishbone Diagrams, SPC, 5-S, Pull systems, SU reduction, Total Productive Maintenance, Kaizen, and Process Qualifications.
- Functional knowledge of OSHA requirements, Industrial Safety good practices, ergonomic process design.
- Experience with ISO 9001 quality systems, Internal Audits (system, process), Quality tools (PPAP, FASR, ECN, NMR, PFMEA, Process Qualifications, FIFO), Industry Standards, Drawings, CAD, Calibration, Material Certifications, Government and International Standards & Regulations (examples-REACH, ROHS, Prop 65, etc.).
- Managerial experience required, preferably with direct labor employees.
- Proven analysis and presentation skills including use of common tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, & PowerPoint.
- Full working knowledge of Lean Concepts with demonstrated success.
- Must be able to travel, if required.
- Six Sigma process experience is a plus!
