Talntly is seeking a Manufacturing Manager for an industrial client of ours. The position will be a 6 month contract to hire, on site at their facility in Nashville, TN.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the manufacturing process
- Develop and implement strategies to improve production efficiency and reduce costs
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- Monitor production schedules and adjust as needed to meet customer demands
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes
- Train, mentor, and motivate manufacturing staff
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to employees
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain team
- Monitor equipment maintenance and repair activities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience in manufacturing management or supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions
- Proficient in using manufacturing software systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
