The Quality Manager will be responsible for developing and planning Quality Control (QC) initiatives for manufacturing in all areas of the business. Duties will also include developing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) along with the manufacturing team. He or she will also be instrumental in reducing costs through continuous process improvement (CPI) programs, optimizing quality management performance, analyzing manufacturing and quality system capabilities, driving continuous improvement projects, and creating quality control plans for new products. Additional responsibilities include providing direction for the Quality Administrator, Quality Assurance Engineer(s), and QC Technician/Inspector(s).
