Fair Manufacturing Inc. an agricultural and industrial OEM located in Yankton, SD is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team. This position will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and expanding our customer base within the agricultural and industrial sectors. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of strong interpersonal skills and technical knowledge of agricultural industry.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share in the assigned territory.
• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and relationship building.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers, providing exceptional service and support to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective customers, showcasing the features, benefits, and value proposition of our equipment.
• Deliver and demonstrate new equipment to customers and communicate the optimal operating procedures to customers bringing value to their operation.
• Collaborate with others to align sales strategies with product offerings and market trends.
• Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotes, and contracts, negotiating terms and pricing to secure new business.
• Keep abreast of industry developments, competitor activities, and market trends, providing insights and recommendations to enhance our competitive position.
• Travel to customer sites, trade shows, and industry events as needed (approximately 15-20% travel required).
• Utilize software to track sales activities, manage leads, and generate reports on sales performance.
• Oversee advertising/marketing budget and direct sales show and advertising decisions based on customer preferences and market forecast.
• Conduct oneself in a professional manner that represents the values of Fair Manufacturing Inc. in interactions with customers and the community at large.

Education/Experience Requirements:

• 5 years of experience in the agriculture industry, or related field preferred.
• Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the agricultural equipment industry.
• Strong understanding of agricultural industry, especially equipment and machinery, including knowledge of features, specifications, and applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.
• Highly motivated self-starter with a proactive approach to sales and business development.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.

Job Type:

• Full-time, hourly position with base compensation and bonus potential

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, and other hours as needed. Travel required about 20% of the time.
