Human Resources Assistant Manager
Location: Brooksville, Florida

• Managing day-to-day HR Responsibilities, not limited to: o Employee relations issues expert and liaison

▪ Including investigations, recommendations on discipline, etc. o HR support to management and employees o Go-To Guru on company policies & procedures.

• Recruitment Management: Primarily for an hourly population: vetting, interviewing, offers, background checks, onboarding and benefits orientations. o Developing appropriate recruitment non-traditional strategies to target and obtain talent. o Job descriptions are always up to date.
• Employee Development: Align strategies to overall and corporate initiatives. o Execute on performance development initiatives to ensure career succession and development.
• Develop turnover reduction strategies.
• Ability to assess and make procedural and policy recommendations to HR Leadership.
• Coaching, Mentorship & Coordination:

o Continuous improvement efforts whether in trainings, safety, performance management, reporting, worker’s comp, compliance, plant communications, overall onsite audits, not limited to OSHA, client audits, SQF, labor surveys, discipline, culture, etc.

• HR Reporting:

o Ability to work with an HR module software, such as ADP’s Time & Attendance system, evaluate hours, balance work hours, ensure attendance warnings and disciplinary warnings are up to date and any other adhoc information.

• Liaison and trusted resource for employee and management questions and needs.
• Assist in execution of internal initiatives.
• Champion of continuous improvement and culture initiatives, ability to lead with enthusiasm and tact.

We are in need of someone that:

• Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration
• Has a above average understanding of local, state and federal regulations to ensure compliance.
• Experience with market compensation research, a plus.
• Must be bi-lingual (English/Spanish)
• Manufacturing, plant environment, a big plus.
• Ability to investigate employee issues and conflicts and bring resolutions with tact and confidentiality.
• A trusted partner, that can take direction and ensure strategic HR goals are aligned with business initiatives.
• High Proficiency in writing skills, verbal communication in both English and Spanish.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
