  • Eaton’s Aerospace sector, Fluid and Electrical Distribution division, is currently seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join our team on 1st Shift. This position is based at our Bethel, CT facility.

    The expected pay range for this role is $19.00-$22.00 /hour

    Position Overview:

    The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for loading test stands and setting up testing for very small and intricate parts. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge in reading, interpreting, and following technical work instructions and blueprints. This first shift position is well suited for a patient individual who is a fast learner, is focused on quality output, and enjoys working in a demanding atmosphere.

    In this function you will:

    • Set up and break down of manifolds of small mechanical parts.
    • Load, run programs and unload test ovens
    • Interpret customer and supplier requirements (via blueprints and work instructions)
    • Recommend design and process improvements to enhance manufacturability

    Qualifications

    Required (Basic) Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent related experience required.
    • Minimum 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment required.
    • Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
    • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
    • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 60-mile radius of Bethel, CT will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

    Position Criteria:

    • Ability to interpret/follow written work instructions, visual aids, sketches and blueprints
    • Basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
