    The Job:
    1. Perform preventative maintenance on CNC machine tools, spinning lathes, ovens, overhead cranes and various manufacturing equipment
    2. In-depth knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, lubrication and electricity.
    3. Understanding and ability to fabricate, machine parts and weld as needed to repair or upgrade machine tools, equipment or facility
    4. Ability to troubleshoot and repair machinery includes tear down and replacement of defective parts, reassembly and readjustments.
    5. Assist outside contractors on overhaul and repair to machine tools, facility improvements and other projects.
    6. Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on, motors, pneumatic tools, hydraulics, and production machines.
    7. Able to read and follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
    8. Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
    9. Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts; using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
    10. Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.
    11. Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance.
    12. Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
    13. Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
    14. Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.
    15. Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publications; establishing personal networks.
    16. Works closely with Engineering and office staff to troubleshoot process and problems and give recommendations on new and existing products and machines.
    17. Operate Robotic cells as required
    18. Work in FanDuct Flow Line as required

    8. Updates job knowledge as required
    9. May be trained in Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost (SQDC).
    10. Travel between facilities and part suppliers may be required in which case milage reimbursement is provided

    4. Report all unsafe conditions to their supervisors
    5. Integrity to act responsibly for the well-being of people, the preservation of property and business continuity.
    6. Actively engaged in EH&S, sharing innovative ideas and taking positive actions to contribute to the achievement of EH&S activities
