Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician with expertise in plumbing and electrical systems to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, testing, and inspecting plumbing and electrical components used in our production. This role requires technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble plumbing and electrical components according to technical drawings and specifications.
- Install and wire electrical components, including switches, relays and inputs.
- Glue plumbing fittings, pipes, and pumps, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.
- Text completed assemblies for quality and functionality, troubleshooting any issues that arise.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and regulatory requirements
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety protocols and procedures at all times.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to identify and implement process improvements.
-Provide training and support to junior technicians as needed.
Requirements:
- high School diploma or equivalent; technical certification or apprenticeship in plumbing and electrical systems preferred.
- Proven experience working in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on plumbing and electrical assembly.
- Understanding of plumbing and electrical wiring schematics.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Ability to use hand and simple power tools safely and effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and quality assurance skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
