Determines brokerage fees and notifies supervisor when customer margin is less than government regulations or brokerage firm requirements. Being a Margin Clerk researches customer margin account problems using customer account information and transaction records. May require an associate degree. Additionally, Margin Clerk typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Margin Clerk works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. What You'll Do
Perform simple office work; maintain office files and records; receive, sort, and route mail; post information to records; stuff, seal, and stamp envelopes; maintain mailing lists; wrap packages; sort, collate, staple, and hand deliver materials; operate office convenience unit duplicating equipment; deliver packages throughout our four floor school building.
Required Qualifications*
- Ability to move packages weighing up to 20lbs each, and to use a dolly and elevators to deliver packages
- Proven reliability
- Ability to interact successfully with a diverse group of faculty, staff and students in a professional and positive manner
Desired Qualifications*
Graduation from high school.
