Determines brokerage fees and notifies supervisor when customer margin is less than government regulations or brokerage firm requirements. Being a Margin Clerk researches customer margin account problems using customer account information and transaction records. May require an associate degree. Additionally, Margin Clerk typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Margin Clerk works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Day to day duties consist of customer service, dispatching trucks, answering phones, taking dumpster rental orders, misc filing, aspects of AP/AR and other misc office duties
REQUIREMENTS:
Punctuality, customer service skills, knowledge of basic office tasks, QuickBooks experience is a MUST, good phone etiquette, ability to multitask and works well with others.
