Department Supervisor

Job Description

We are looking for a supervisor to join our team and oversee the daily operations and strategy of our organization’s department in a production warehouse setting.

Supervisor responsibilities include managing people and providing communication and updates to Senior Leadership within the organization throughout the year.

Ultimately, you will be working with a group of employees within a department to ensure our organization meets its goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Set strategic long and short-term goals and evaluate outcomes.
• Motivate staff while facilitating personal growth.
• Ensure high levels of productivity are maintained.
• Guarantee the highest levels of quality are met.
• Communicate job expectations to staff.
• Conduct training for new and current employees for continued skills development.
• Create and foster a productive working environment.
• Establish adherence to company and industry regulations.

Requirements & Skills

• Proven work experience as a supervisor or similar role.
• Self-motivated and confident.
• Highly organized and diligent.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Relevant training and/or certification as a supervisor.
• Experience in a production or manufacturing facility.

Schedule

• 8-hour shifts, 7:00am – 3:30pm
• Some hours outside 7-3:30 as necessary.
