DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of all types of marine engines. Most work will be on outboard engines.
· Safely operate customer vessels during diagnostic water testing
· Assure that fuel, electrical and mechanical systems are in safe working order.
· Maintain effective communication with the service manager
· Provide consultation on repairs, maintenance, and preventative measures to the machine for the service manager
· Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
· Marine Tech Certification is not required prior to hiring, but certified applicants will take priority. Valid certification (e.g. ASE) is preferred. All techs will maintain certification during employment.
