Description

Dometic Marine’s facility in Litchfield, IL is our main distribution center that manages the packaging and distribution of aftermarket marine and OPE industrial products.   

We are currently seeking a dedicated and versatile Material Handler to join our dynamic 2nd shift team.  The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, adapting to the changing needs of the job. Key responsibilities include:

• Handling Inventory:
  Efficiently manage a high quantity of small and large parts.
• Stock Management:
  Pull bulk stock for production departments based on operational requirements.
• Goods Transfer:
  Facilitate the transfer of finished goods from production to the warehouse as necessary.
• Warehouse Support:
  Replenish pick bins in the warehouse to ensure smooth operations.
• Versatility:
  Fill in for the End of Line Wrapper role when required.
• Adaptable Role:
  Perform various other duties as assigned to meet the evolving needs of the job.

Requirements

 The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Dependability and Attendance:
  Demonstrated track record of reliability and excellent attendance.
• Flexibility:
  Availability to work required overtime as dictated by schedules.
• Numerical Accuracy:
  Strong numerical aptitude with a keen eye for accuracy.
• Initiative:
  Proven ability to work independently as a self-starter.
• Tow Motor Licensing:
  Capability to obtain tow motor licensing within 30 days of the award of the bid.
• Physical Proficiency:
  Ability to lift and handle items weighing 50 pounds, successful testing of the Job Standard Physical Base Profile.
