Job Summary
Responsible for developing and implementing effective data analysis and visualization. These activities are in direct support of monitoring and detecting quality and safety signals associated with field product performance. Support on-going risk management. Support efforts to improve effectiveness and efficiency of the post-market process.
Essential Functions

Collect, analyze, and disseminate quality data throughout the organization

Responsible for developing statistical methods needed to effectively monitor PMS data to assure Patient Safety and Product Quality

Responsible for managing the Post Market Surveillance trending processes and assuring proper statistical techniques are applied to all trending methods

Establishes statistical tools to analyze data, make acceptance decisions, and improve process capability (Six Sigma, Statistical Process Control (SPC DOE).

Automates data analysis methods

Provide reports for internal teams using graphs and other methods to visualize data. Standardize reporting to make the process efficient.

Perform MTBF data analytics for products to understand risk and affect decisions to improve reliability

Working with the various KPI owners to maintain oversight of all KPIs and ensuring accuracy of data reported to the leadership team

Assures the data integrity of all output via appropriate verification and validation activities.

Ability to document statistical-based trending procedures and trending analysis validation in compliance with regulatory requirements, ability to perform validations (IQ, OQ, PQ)

Develop and deliver training materials to aid teams with their understanding of statistical-based trending methods

Ability to explain statistical rationale and trending procedures during regulatory audits, if necessary.

Maintain knowledge base on new regulations and standards that affect Complaint Handling and Risk Management for medical devices.

Take an active role in leading improvement projects with respect to the creation of tools to aid in the FDA, Health Canada, Vigilance reporting and registrar reporting.

Identify opportunities or detections within the process through statistical analysis, critical thought, and development of a clear set of recommendations to the team and management for resolution

Meet Departmental, Corporate and Project Objectives in a timely manner in accordance with the ZOLL QMS.

Participate in areas such as Corrective/Preventive Action program and Internal/ External audits.
Required/Preferred Education and Experience
-
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or an equivalent degree Required

2 years of experience as a data analyst/statistician Required and
-
Programming Languages: Python, .Net, SQL, C sharp, SSRS reports.

Tools and Frameworks: Agile, Power BI, Tomcat, Tableau, Oracle, Salesforce, LMS by ComplianceWire
