Market Research Director is responsible for the market research department. Directs and oversees an organization's marketing policies, objectives, and initiatives. Being a Market Research Director manages a team to review changes to the marketplace and industry and adjusts marketing plan accordingly. Analyzes existing goals and programs and recommends improvements. Additionally, Market Research Director requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a top management. The Director of Institutional Research provides the President, Provost, and senior staff with information in a variety of areas for administrative and managerial decision making. The Director is responsible for leading and coordinating a comprehensive program of institutional research and for supporting related planning, accreditation, enrollment, and assessment activities. Reporting to the Provost, the Director is responsible for any recruitment and appointment of staff and the development and oversight of the Institutional Research budget.
