Bakery/Coffee House Assistant Manager
Works in conjunction with the Manager to supervise, up to 10 employees in the Bakery & Coffee House, and coordinates activities of the Bakery Department and the Coffee House in support of policies, goals and objectives established by Island Market involved with production, sales, and distribution of products by performing the following duties personally or through a team lead when absent from the department. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Qualified candidates will possess: Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in similar environment required, excellent communications skills (verbal and written), and the desire to work with an incredible team providing baked goods and coffee to our community.
Pay is starting at $25.00/per hour.
