Store Manager

Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to oversee the operations of our retail store. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team, driving sales, and ensuring excellent customer service. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and opportunities for career growth.

Duties:
- Manage day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Create and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets
- Train, supervise, and motivate store staff to provide exceptional customer service
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock management
- Manage a schedule for employees
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive repeat business
- Handle customer complaints or inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure accuracy in financial transactions
- Handle the ordering processes for multiple departments
- Implement loss prevention measures to minimize theft and maximize security

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Store Manager or similar role in the retail industry is preferred but not required
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficient in cash handling procedures and point-of-sale systems
- Knowledge of retail sales principles and customer service practices
- Ability to negotiate with suppliers and vendors for favorable terms
- Experience in employee orientation, training, and development
