Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Has no authority for staff actions. Generally has a minimum of 2 years experience as an individual contributor.     • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify current and emerging trends in the Stainless Steel Tubing industries with an immediate focus in Steel Industry.
    • Analyze competitors and market dynamics to identify opportunities and threats.
    • Gather information on potential clients, their preferences, and needs.
    • Monitor regulatory changes and industry news affecting the Steel sector.
    • Develop insight to how AI will impact the industry, its potential benefits and application to the organization, and effectively communicate the learned knowledge with the sales team and company leadership

    Data Analysis:

    • Utilize advanced statistical and analytical tools to interpret complex data sets.
    • Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to support market forecasts and trend analysis.
    • Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor relevant metrics to measure market performance.
    • Create reports and dashboards to visualize data and present findings to company leadership.
    • Use data-driven insights to optimize marketing strategies and campaigns.

    Client Profiling and Segmentation:

    • Develop and maintain client profiles to better understand their demographics, preferences, and behaviors. {May leverage a specific system}
    • Segment the client database for targeted marketing campaigns.
    • Recommend strategies for personalized marketing approaches based on client segments.

    Strategic Insights and Recommendations:

    • Provide actionable insights to support the development of business strategies and initiatives.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess market potential and drive product development decisions.
    • Communicate findings and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear and compelling manner.

    Forecasting and Planning:

    • Develop and maintain accurate market forecasts to support business planning and budgeting processes.
    • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to align market insights with revenue projections.
    • Contribute to the development of long-term strategic plans based on market trends and analysis.

    Competitor Analysis:

    • Track and analyze the marketing efforts and strategies of competitors in the applicable industries.
    • Identify competitive advantages and areas for improvement.
    • Provide insights to help the company differentiate itself effectively.

    Data Privacy and Compliance:

    • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations when handling customer data.
    • Maintain the confidentiality and security of sensitive marketing data.


    Requirements

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Statistics, or a related field. A masters degree is a plus.
    • 5 years of proven experience in marketing research and data analysis, preferably in a related industry
    • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, Google Analytics).
    • Strong understanding of statistical analysis and data visualization techniques.
    • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
    • Knowledge of market research methodologies.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
    • Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing automation tools is advantageous.

    Preferred Qualifications

    General understanding of the industry (nationally and across all markets) and the sales cycles of the industries served.
