rEvolution is seeking a Finance Analyst to join our growing sports marketing agency. In this role, reporting to the VP, Finance, you will be responsible for assisting client finance and FP&A to provide key financial analysis of our projects and global company P&L.

You Will:

• Perform job cost and time analyses for account teams.
• Manage timesheet collection for the agency.
• Manage job closure process – checking all financial balances and ensuring they are closed in a timely manner.
• Establish strong working relationships with department leads while acting as their main point of contact for any questions to their budget.
• Provide client financial analysis in the review of monthly results.
• Prepare month end playbook for executive strategy meetings.

• Participate in monthly financial meetings with departments/segments and client teams.
• Participate in the budget process and perform updates for monthly rolling forecasts.
• Prepare journal entries in relation to month end close and transfers post month-end meetings.

• Perform internal reconciliations and analyses of key clients
• Perform month-end analysis prior to closing to ensure actuals are hitting the correct budgets.

• Participate in Ad Hoc projects as assigned.

• Update and maintain procedural documentation.

You Have:

• 1-2 years of financial experience in a professional services setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, or a related field.
• Advanced Microsoft office skills (Strong Excel skills a must, including but not limited to, use of intermediate formulas (VLOOKUPs, IF/Then), pivot tables, referencing data and filtering)
• Excels in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have the highest degree of accuracy with a strong attention to detail.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of financial and accounting concepts/policies.
• Adept at problem-solving independently using online resources.
• Easily adapts to different financial systems (experience in NetSuite and Adaptive Planning a plus).

This hybrid role is based in our fabulous Chicago office but has a global reach.
