Position Description:
Warehouse Associate II / General Maintenance is responsible for the execution and upkeep of various facility operations including building and property of both 2945 Carquest and 2811 Carquest facilities. Position also provides support to Receiving, Fulfillment, and Shipping functions. Position is roughly 60% receiving, Fulfillment and Shipping Functions and 40% Maintenance Duties
Experience:
This position requires at least 1 year of previous maintenance experience working in larger fast-paced facility. High School diploma or equivalent is required. Warehouse Associate II / General Maintenance is also required to have some experience working in a Distribution Center supporting Receiving, Fulfillment, and Shipping functions.
Warehouse Associate II Guidelines:
- Work at both 2945 & 2811 distribution centers as required by need (Receiving, Fulfillment, and Shipping functions)
- Unloading trucks/Containers, receipt processing, and replenishment stocking of material
- Banding/Wrapping Freight Orders
- Ability to use Warehouse Management System to record activities.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work overtime when needed at short notice.
- Following instructions as presented
- Utilize company provided vehicle to transport interoffice and deliveries.
Maintenance Guidelines
- Ensure timely and accurate facility upkeep and maintenance of both 2945 Carquest and 2811 Carquest facilities.
- Provide routine pm maintenance utilizing established food handling procedures on food production equipment.
- Assist SQF Team to prepare for yearly audit making sure maintenance items are done.
- Ability to handle light maintenance activities (changing light bulbs, Coordinating Recycling and internal trash removal)
- Handling Monthly, Weekly and Quarterly checks as noted on the provided checklists (Checking fire extinguishers, Condition of Dock Doors/Bumpers, Freezer Alarm Testing Monthly)
- Closing the building as needed due to Supervisor on PTO.

- Ability to operate heavy equipment (Forklift, Tow Motor, Pallet Jacks, etc.)
- Intermediate Math Skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 per hour
