Support Honda’s Long-term Planning Department decision-making efforts in identifying market trends and target customers achieve corporate objectives by translating critical data into insights Honda can use to develop new vehicles that anticipate future customer needs. The associate will be engaged in long-term research and prediction, as well as supporting the department in making tactical decisions through reporting and ad hoc queries.
This is a contract position with our client Honda.
Responsibilities include:
- Data Analysis: Identify, analyze, and develop predictive models and interpret trends or patterns using data sets of varying size and complexity.
- Research: Support and lead research projects including desk research, focus groups, clinics, on-line quantitative surveys, etc.
- Intelligence Gathering: Maintain a thorough understanding of the automotive market, consumers, consumer preferences and company strategy - report findings on a regular basis.
- Collaborate among various department/divisions across Honda Motor Company (US and Japan).
Requirements
- Curiosity and passion for consumer research and the future of the automotive industry.
- Ability to translate data of varying complexity into compelling stories/reports (PowerPoint) and present findings to engineers, designers, analysts, and executives.
- Flexibility in handling multiple projects with variable/shifting deadlines.
Desired Skills:

- MBA or Masters in Data Science.
