Seeking a creative, fun, energetic part time Marketing Assistant with at least 1 year of solid digital marketing experience in a work place.
We are looking for creatively skilled digital marketer with some experience who is interested in assisting and learning under an experienced Marketer who can help drive growth and extend our digital reach. This person will report to and assist the Marketing Coordinator, and will be responsible for delivering innovative marketing materials and content creation for our niche high-end sewing business.
This person is a self-starter, detail-oriented, team player with the ability to manage multiple projects through excellent time management. This role is ideal for a well-rounded individual with the ability to produce independently, with solid experience and interest in; digital content creation, video creation, social media platforms, ecommerce, and advertising. This role requires a creative person that can dig-in, explore and become efficient within our state or the art platforms, ideally with a creative career interest in sewing, quilting and/or embroidery.
This person is interested in learning from others, while working within our fun, friendly, customer-focused environment, and working with our sales team, while being rewarded for driving growth and their hard work. This hands-on person doesn’t mind periodic physical work while coordinating events. He/she can take direction from others, successfully work within a team, while creating a friendly environment and positively interacting with customers.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Create, curate, and schedule engaging content across various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikToc, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and reviews to maintain a positive online presence.
- Develop and implement social media campaigns to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Generate high-quality videos for use in social media, along with graphics.
- Camera work and video creation from Clubs and Events, and other promotions.
- Manage our online video class process.
- Generate high-quality copy text and visual content.
- Collaborate to ensure content aligns with overall business marketing goals and brand voice.
- Assist in the execution of digital marketing campaigns, including email, social media and paid advertising.
- Implement website updates to ensure we have the latest products, services, and promotions.
- Use analytics tools to track the performance of digital marketing efforts and report internally.
- Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and work towards achieving and surpassing them.
- Reports to Marketing Coordinator.

- Solid experience with management of social media platforms including; Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc..
- Solid experience in a variety of creative programs such as; Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, etc..
- Solid copywriting capability.
- Solid website and SEO knowledge.
- Bachelors in Marketing or related field.

Location:
This role would be primarily based out of both our Williamsville, NY and East Aurora, NY locations, with occasional work in our Victor, NY location or other off-site events.
