JOB OVERVIEW

The Marketing Assistant is responsible for scheduling and implementing all marketing plans via email & social media. This position is also responsible for capturing marketing content in all classes, programs, events, etc... The marketing assistant is expected to stay positive and professional at all times. He or she should ensure that his or her responsibilities support Premiere’s overall vision and values.

RESPONSIBILITIES TASKS

Daily Tasks

• Creating Marketing Material via Canva
• Capturing Content - Stories, Posts & Reels
• Posting High Quality Organic Studio Content on Social Media
• Content should be shared daily (4-6 “value” posts / week)
• Engaging on Social Media - liking and commenting on client posts

Weekly Tasks

• 1-2 Hours of Research / Training in Marketing
• Create Marketing Calendar via MKTG Plans - streamline & focus on what is important & necessary
• Scheduling Social Media & Marketing Emails based on Marketing Calendar
• Create & Post 1 Reel / Week
• Check Facebook Community Requests / Clean Out Facebook Community Members
• Meet with & Report to Marketing Director Weekly

Monthly Tasks

• Check In on Website & Send Any Necessary Changes / Updates to MKTG Director
• Create & Schedule Monthly Marketing Newsletter - approve with Marketing Director
• Schedule Program Highlight Marketing
• Update Instagram Link Tree

General

• Continuously Evolving Social Media & Email Marketing to opt for conversions & engagement - make recommendations to marketing director
• Complete All Facebook Events as Assigned
• Create / Assign Content & Schedule Posts for Holidays — (New Year’s, Valentines,
• Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Thanksgiving, “Happy Holidays”)
• Create / Assign Content & Schedule Posts for Studio Breaks (Spring Break, Thanksgiving
• Break, Winter Break)
• Complete All MISC Tasks as Assigned
• Utilize asana, email, and meetings to assign & receive tasks, projects & communications at the studio
• Give a 24 hour notice to directors if deadline will not be met

Semesterly Tasks

• Complete performance review meeting
• Participate in semesterly employee training

Yearly Tasks

• Carry Out Yearly Marketing Photoshoot
• Attend annual recital / rehearsals and open house
• Attend other events as assigned

Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)

• 60% Open Rate on MKTG Emails
• 300 Instagram Interactions & 1,500 Instagram Reach / Month
• 2,000 Facebook Engagements & 25,000 Facebook Reach / Month
• Completing all Posts / Emails on the MKTG Calendar
• Weekly Social Media Engagement w/ Followers
• Innovative Social Media / Marketing Ideas

Qualifications

• Experienced knowledge of dance studios / studio operations
• Friendly and welcoming personality
• Great work ethic including: self-motivation, integrity, and passion for the studio
• Forward thinking
• Organizational & time-management skills
• Proficient in Google Drive, Google Calendar, and Mac usage
• Utilizing Google software - Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Instagram & Facebook

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week

Ability to Relocate:

• Waukee, IA 50263: Relocate before starting work (Required)
