POSITION SUMMARY

Serve the Voice of Prophecy ministry by marketing to Adventist church members, pastors, and leaders about the evangelistic events and resources offered by the Voice of Prophecy. This includes helping to manage marketing initiatives and coordinate and support our presence at conventions and worker's meetings, as well as in print, digital, social media, and direct mail marketing campaigns.

Authority & Accountability

Authority delegated by the Public Relations Director and Associate Director.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Be a spiritual and personable leader who:
  • Is in agreement with all 28 fundamental Bible teachings of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
  • Maintains a close, growing relationship with Jesus Christ
• Serve as a project manager for marketing and public relations-related tasks
• Assist with administrative tasks and requests from the public.
• Coordinate and execute the implementation of marketing plan tasks, including securing print and digital ad space, etc.
• Maintain applicable marketing lists for email, text messages, and other marketing channels.
• Manage social media advertising campaigns for local churches running a Voice of Prophecy event.
• Create and manage email marketing campaigns
• Collect and evaluate data from marketing efforts, including:
  • Post-event host and attendee surveys
  • Response from print or digital ads
• Help to facilitate the planning and ministry presence at events, larger conventions, and local conference pastor/worker’s meetings
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 3 years in project management, marketing, sales, communications, or related field.
• Membership: Must be an enthusiastic member in good standing of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

• Computer savvy; has ability to learn and become skilled in working with marketing and project management software, Microsoft Office, etc.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• General working conditions of an office
• Travel flexibility and travel hazards
• Physical requirements: requires limited driving, standing, walking, and significant time on the computer or at a desk, reaching, climbing, and lifting (maximum of 50 lbs.)
• Statistics:
  • 38 regular hours per week,
  • Will require variable hours and weekend work
  • No special clothing or safety gear required
