MARKETING ASSISTANT

The YMCA of Pueblo is looking for a responsible and organized individual to join our Marketing team as the Marketing Assistant. This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The Marketing Assistant is part of the Marketing Team and will work with a variety of individuals and groups internally and externally. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills, and adhere to internal and external deadlines. Strong attention to detail is a must as well as the ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team.

SHIFT REQUIREMENTS: This is a part time / hourly position 20-25 hours a week

Responsibilities

MARKETING ASSISTANT REQUIREMENTS:

● Must be at least 18 years of age● High School diploma● Associates degree in marketing, development, or business preferred.● Knowledge and experience with Adobe Suite Tools (InDesign, Photoshop, PremierPro, etc) preferred.● Minimum 1 year of customer service experience, membership services, or donorrelations experience preferred.● Ability to work well and effectively communicate with a diverse population in a widevariety of situations via telephone, e-mail, and face to face.● Ability to set work priorities and handle multiple tasks while ensuring processing andjob responsibility deadlines are met.● CPR, AED, Oxygen and First Aid Certification (within one month of hire).

Qualifications

MARKETING ASSISTANT RESPONSIBILITIES:

● Support and assist the Marketing Department with day-to-day operations to include,but not limited to: working with Directors in fulfilling marketing requests, deliveriesof marketing collateral to YMCA Centers, returning phone calls and emails.● Support Marketing Director with small projects and assist with the creation anddistribution of flyers, posters, etc. both internally and externally.● Must be knowledgeable with Meta Business Suite (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube,TikTok).● Maintain daily social media presence. Posting once daily to social media platforms.Includes main YMCA accounts and Camp Jackson accounts (total 4 postings daily).● Strategic and thorough record administration and file management to ensureoperational efficiency.● Team support for all events led by the Association to include Annual Meeting,Corporate Cup, Turkey Trot, Father Daughter Dance, and other events that may needsupport.
