Marketing Communication Director directs, implements, monitors, and evaluates marketing communications strategy and programs, including advertising, branding, product promotion, and regulatory matters. Designs, develops, and distributes consistent themes, messaging and branding throughout all communication touch points. Being a Marketing Communication Director builds cross-functional relationships with organizational stakeholders to understand products, customers, and industry and develop a focused communication program. Oversees efficient processes for the regulatory review and approval of communication materials. Additionally, Marketing Communication Director explores and adopts new channels, methods, and platforms to optimize marketing communications. May oversee planning for trade shows and conferences to showcase products and amplify messaging. Develops budgets and internal and external resources for communication program delivery. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Marketing Communication Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Marketing Communication Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. Marketing Account Manager

  • Description

    The Marketing Account Manager is responsible for maintaining positive customer relationships by successfully coordinating large and small-scale marketing projects. This role will work directly with clients to understand their needs, and budgetary restrictions, and communicate that with the marketing team to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of deliverables. The Marketing Account Manager will manage contracts, billing, team, and client communications, and more.

    Requirements
    • Serve as the lead point of contact for all internal and external client account management matters.
    • Understand client needs and advocate for quality assurance and brand cohesion throughout the creative process.
    • Facilitate effective project management strategies to ensure the timely and successful delivery of marketing and communications deliverables according to customer needs and objectives.
    • Communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
    • Deliver status updates and project insights to clients, including leading monthly reporting presentations, end-of-project reviews, and more.
    • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
    • Manage finance requests and facilitate invoicing and billing between CSD's finance team, vendors, and clients.
    • Work with sales and department leaders to negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
    • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to support sales initiatives.
    • Other duties as assigned.


    To perform the essential functions of this position successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

    • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level.
    • Solid experience with CRM software (e.g. Constant Contact, Salesforce, Zoho CRM or HubSpot) and MS Office.
    • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs.
    • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
    • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
    • Ability to understand and present data reports and field client questions.
    • Experience delegating tasks and prioritizing multiple projects with an understanding of maintaining relationships and revenue.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field from an accredited college or university; or equivalent professional experience
    • 1-3 years of professional experience in project management, social media content production, project coordination, sales, advertising, customer service, public relations, or a similar field
    • Ability to communicate effectively using American Sign Language (Preferred)


    Work Environment / Physical Requirements

    This position is largely self-directed and requires understanding and compliance with company policies, procedures, and values. The position uses a computer and standard office equipment to work in a virtual office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to interact collaboratively with the team and stakeholders and communicate via phone, videophone, or text messaging. The employee may be required to occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. The position may require travel up to 10%.

    Salary Description
    $55,000 - $66,000/year
