Marketing Communication Director directs, implements, monitors, and evaluates marketing communications strategy and programs, including advertising, branding, product promotion, and regulatory matters. Designs, develops, and distributes consistent themes, messaging and branding throughout all communication touch points. Being a Marketing Communication Director builds cross-functional relationships with organizational stakeholders to understand products, customers, and industry and develop a focused communication program. Oversees efficient processes for the regulatory review and approval of communication materials. Additionally, Marketing Communication Director explores and adopts new channels, methods, and platforms to optimize marketing communications. Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to increase awareness and occupancy rates for our skilled nursing facility.
2. Cultivate and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, community organizations, and referral sources to drive admissions.
3. Maintain active status with the facility credentialing vendor.
4. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to assess and prioritize potential admissions based on facility capabilities and patient needs.
5. Conduct facility tours for prospective residents and their families, providing detailed information about our services and amenities.
6. Manage the admissions process, including pre-admission assessments, insurance verification, and necessary paperwork.
7. Oversee the creation of marketing materials, both digital and print, ensuring alignment with regulatory guidelines and organizational branding.
8. Utilize digital marketing channels, including social media and online platforms, to enhance the facility's online presence.
9. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators related to admissions and marketing efforts, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
10. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless transition for new residents and their families.
11. Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making.
12. Assist, plan, develop, organize all aspects of facility operations in conjunction with other Director level personnel.
Skills:
1. Proven experience in healthcare marketing and admissions, preferably in a skilled nursing facility setting.
2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders.
3. Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to healthcare admissions and marketing practices.
4. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
5. Proficient in digital marketing tools, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
6. Understanding of Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurance processes.
7. Flexibility to attend events and meetings outside regular business hours as needed.
8. Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
