Marketing Communication Director directs, implements, monitors, and evaluates marketing communications strategy and programs, including advertising, branding, product promotion, and regulatory matters. Designs, develops, and distributes consistent themes, messaging and branding throughout all communication touch points. Being a Marketing Communication Director builds cross-functional relationships with organizational stakeholders to understand products, customers, and industry and develop a focused communication program. Oversees efficient processes for the regulatory review and approval of communication materials. Additionally, Marketing Communication Director explores and adopts new channels, methods, and platforms to optimize marketing communications. May oversee planning for trade shows and conferences to showcase products and amplify messaging. Develops budgets and internal and external resources for communication program delivery. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Marketing Communication Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Marketing Communication Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. Digital Marketing and Communication Specialist

  • The Digital Marketing and Communication Specialist is responsible for developing, overseeing and optimizing online traffic to maximize sales and increase brand awareness across multiple channels. This individual will oversee campaign development, paid media planning and activation, full-funnel strategy, audience and persona alignment, and digital channel analysis and reporting. This role will be based onsite at our Deptford, NJ office.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Develops (in partnership with the VP of Marketing) and implements the digital marketing strategic plan designed to drive brand awareness, member engagement & retention, product penetration, and new member acquisition.
    • Oversees the content for the credit union's various digital marketing channels including, but not limited to, website, emails, social media pages, press releases, etc., and ensures the content aligns with brand voice, mission, promotions, campaigns, or other content objectives.
    • Maintain social media content/production calendar to engage with the membership by posting content, managing comments and reporting analytics for FHCU social media channels: Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google, YouTube.
    • Work with stakeholders to design various supporting online assets, such as web banners, promotional landing pages, email campaigns, eNewsletters, etc.
    • Manages ongoing review of website content, functionality and third-party interfaces, ensuring accuracy of content, regulatory compliance and proper functionality.
    • Manage email deployment schedule, process, list management and member contact experience.
    • Responsible for overseeing digital signage programming and update content as necessary.
    • Participates in valuable credit union self-development education programs and required compliance courses through self-study, third party training programs, and the credit union's training department; remain current and knowledgeable of all aspects of local, state and federal regulations that affect the credit union.
    • Develop and deploy press releases relating to community outreach efforts, new product launches, special events, etc.Assists in the development and execution of the credit union's overarching advertising and marketing plans and activities, as well as other departmental projects as assigned.

    Qualification Requirements

    Educational/Training Requirement:

    • Minimum of an associate degree in marketing, advertising or public relations or currently working toward completion of a degree

    Experience:

    Two (2) or more years of marketing experience in digital marketing with history of producing quantifiable results, including but not limited to demand generation, inbound marketing, digital advertising, social media, SEO, SEM, conversion optimization, and reporting and analytics)
    • Financial Services Industry experience preferred

      • Stay up to date with changes in all social platforms, ensuring maximum effectiveness
      • Facilitate online conversations with customers and respond to queries
      • Report on online reviews and feedback from customers and fans
      • Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics
      • Oversee social media accounts' layout
      • Suggest new ways to attract prospective customers, like promotions and competitions
      • Experience with digital al marketing and web tools, such as Google Ads, Google Analytics, Facebook Business Manager, and LinkedIn Advertising,
    Desktop Publishing Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to create spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations
    • Basic Graphic Design
      • Ability to create documents utilizing InDesign
      • Ability to make adjustments to files in Photoshop and Illustrator
    • Outstanding Organization

    • Ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously and with conflicting deadlines
