Visa is looking for a Director, Brand and Innovation Communications to help bring Visa’s products and brand to life for external audiences. The ideal candidate will join a team of smart, driven communicators who develop the stories that shape ongoing perception of the iconic Visa brand Globally and within North America. In your role as Director, Brand and Innovation Communication you will help promote Visa's Brand, Sponsorship, Innovation and Digital Partnership initiatives around the world, spreading the word about our new and existing products, services and partnerships. In your day-to-day, you will focus on driving communications for sponsorship initiatives that include sports, music, gaming, culture, the creator economy and more. This person will also support Innovation and Digital Partnerships initiatives where there is crossover between the two groups.
The team is responsible for communicating with external audiences through different communication platforms and tools, including – but not limited to – developing written communications, social media posts, website content, speaking remarks, engaging in media strategy and media relations, supporting tentpole events, creating presentations, developing briefing materials and media recap reports. The team works closely with colleagues across the Marketing and Innovation organizations, as well as the broader product communications team at Visa. As a global team member, you’ll spend a good amount of time with cross-functional colleagues both here in the US and abroad, sharing information, aligning on plans and goals, and moving the communications agenda forward via strong business relationships.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 days a week, with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs. Remote candidates will not be considered, and no relocation is available for this role.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 146,900 to 213,000 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
