Marketing Communication Manager manages the implementation of the marketing communications strategy and programs, including advertising, branding, product promotion, and regulatory matters. Designs, develops, and distributes consistent themes, messaging, and branding throughout all communication touch points. Being a Marketing Communication Manager understands products, customers, and industry and develops focused communications in collaboration with organizational stakeholders across functions. Oversees efficient processes for the regulatory review and approval of communication materials. Additionally, Marketing Communication Manager explores and adopts new channels, methods, and platforms to optimize marketing communications. May oversee the planning and execution of trade shows and conferences to showcase products and amplify messaging. Develops the internal and external resources required for communication program delivery. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. What you will do:
Lead a team whose activities relate to brand awareness, digital communications, external perception, and public relations.
Collaborate to develop support services that promote the work of Slipstream and processes that enable exceptional service delivery across the organization, to our partners, and to our clients.
Partner with stakeholders to embed the values of collaboration, sustainability, change agentry and equity, diversity, and inclusion into strategic and day-to-day initiatives.
Drive quality, innovation, and business results.
Manage, mentor, coach and develop Marketing Communications Team and building a positive team culture.
Act as the representative for all marketing teams to the leadership and executive team, Board of Directors, and the organization.
Develop the Marketing strategy for Slipstream Inc. as an organization (email, social media, white papers, internal and external newsletters, crisis response, conferences).
Maintenance and strategy for brand look/feel standards.
Guide the voice of program/service storytelling.
Direct responsibility to develop, manage and guide the marketing strategy of the leadership team, including the CEO.
Participate in collaborative and cross-functional operations and teams.
Represent the organization through outward facing engagement as a leader in the Conferences and Events space.
What you will need:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience with a background in sustainability/energy/ decarbonization highly desirable.
Demonstrated ability to co-create with a team of professionals.
Demonstrated ability to interpret strategic direction and implement effective initiatives.
Demonstrated organizational skills, utilizing modern technology including project management skills and experience in nonprofit public relations and fundraising/philanthropy.
